The L1Local Editorial Team researches, writes, checks and updates articles published on L1Local.co.uk.

L1Local is an independent Liverpool-focused publication covering local news, practical guides, neighbourhoods, businesses, transport, development, culture, events and the city's history.

Our aim is to produce useful local information rather than simply repeat press releases or announcements.

Where possible, articles are checked against primary sources such as Liverpool City Council, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, NHS organisations, GOV.UK, transport operators, planning documents and information supplied directly by the organisations involved.

Some articles are written by individual contributors. Others are published under the L1Local Editorial Team when several people have contributed to the research, checking or updating of a piece.

We correct factual errors when they are identified and update practical guides when information changes.
