Your listing gives people another way to find out who you are, what you do and where to find you.

It costs nothing

There is no listing fee, no subscription and no paid upgrade.

Businesses cannot pay to appear higher in the directory, because there is nothing to buy.

You do not have to write anything

Send us the basics and we do the work: your website, your social accounts, opening information and anything else useful.

Then we write the listing in the same voice as the rest of the site.

Your listing is checked

We do not publish everything that gets submitted. We confirm the business is trading, check the location, and look at public information like the food hygiene rating.

That is what keeps the directory worth reading instead of turning it into a page of adverts.

It might lead to more than a listing

Sometimes a submission turns out to be a story.

A new opening, an unusual business, a move or a genuine local change may be something we want to cover elsewhere on the site.

We check you are trading, find your hours and socials, and look up the hygiene rating.

A short, honest entry in the directory. We email you if we need a photo.

Sending this does not guarantee a listing. We only list places we can stand behind, and we cannot get to every submission straight away.
