Overview & what to expect

The Everyman theatre continues its landmark autumn production of Death of a Salesman, directed by Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu. This fresh staging reimagines Willy Loman and his family within an Afro-centric British context, bringing new resonance to Miller's critique of the American Dream, family loyalty and personal dignity.

Cyril Nri delivers a devastating central performance as Willy Loman, capturing both the tragic bravado and fragile vulnerability of an ageing salesman facing obsolescence. The production features a striking local cast and a dynamic creative team that grounds the classic drama in immediate emotional truth.

The show runs for approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes including an interval. Because of high local acclaim, weekend evening performances have seen strong demand, making advance booking essential for the remaining dates.
