Bold Street runs uphill from Liverpool Central towards St Luke's Church. You can find Lebanese, Indian and Greek food, burgers, brunch and coffee within a few minutes' walk.
Food takes up much of the street, but Bold Street is not only a restaurant strip. News From Nowhere sells books at number 96. Dig Vinyl and Zap Graffiti share an upstairs address at 27-29. Utility, Shared Earth, COW and Pop Boutique add gifts, homeware and vintage clothes.

91 Bold Street
Maray began on Bold Street in 2014. Its food takes influence from the Middle East and Mediterranean, with vegetable, meat and fish dishes designed for sharing.

Mowgli Street Food
69 Bold Street
The Bold Street restaurant is the original Mowgli. It opened in 2014 and is smaller than many of the chain's later venues.

Bakchich
54 Bold Street
Bakchich serves Lebanese food including mezze, shawarma, falafel and grilled meat. Its official site lists the restaurant at number 54 and shows opening from 10am daily when this guide was checked.

Greek Taverna

Greek Taverna serves Greek and Cypriot food, including mezze, grilled meat, seafood and traditional main dishes. The drinks list includes Greek wines, Ouzo, Metaxa and beer.

Bundobust
17-19 Bold Street
Bundobust combines vegetarian Indian food with a large beer list. The first-floor venue overlooks Bold Street and serves dishes including bhajis and okra fries.

Fat Hippo

Fat Hippo focuses on burgers, fried chicken and loaded sides. Its menu includes beef, chicken, vegetarian and vegan options.

Honest Burgers serves beef, chicken, vegetarian and vegan burgers with rosemary-salted chips. Its Liverpool branch has a city-specific burger, outdoor tables and step-free access to an accessible toilet.

Deco Lounge
65-67 Bold Street
Deco Lounge is a recent change on this part of the street. It occupies the building formerly used by LEAF and is part of the national Lounges group.
Food runs from breakfast through to evening meals, with separate vegan and gluten-free choices. The venue also serves coffee, beer, wine and cocktails. Its official page lists wheelchair-accessible seating and a wheelchair-accessible toilet.

Bold Street Coffee opened here in 2010. The original shop remains part of a business that now has several other locations.

Bam Boo serves breakfast and brunch, including cooked breakfasts and pancakes. It also offers cocktails, bottomless brunch sessions and Sunday roasts.

Cafe Tabac

Cafe Tabac has traded at the upper end of Bold Street since 1974. It opens in the morning for breakfast and coffee, then continues into the evening with food and drinks.
