Overview & what to expect

FORMATGG marks its tenth anniversary with a massive warehouse-scale takeover of Boxpark Liverpool in the Baltic Triangle. Originating as a grassroots community meetup for game creators, FORMAT has grown into the UK's definitive collision of gaming industry showcase, esports tournament, and late-night party.

The multi-zone event features playable builds from leading independent studios, a dedicated Razer hardware experience area, the Coalesce Esports Zone, and a South Asian Gaming Zone. Entertainment on the main stage includes live video-game soundtrack performances, a gaming choir, K-pop dance troupes, and a charity cosplay catwalk supporting Make-A-Wish UK.

As night falls, the energy shifts into an electronic music festival with resident DJs delivering house, techno, and bass sets across Boxpark's industrial hall.
