Overview & what to expect

Newsham Scream Park returns for its fourth Halloween season, exploiting one of Britain's most famously haunted buildings: the abandoned Victorian orphanage and hospital complex at Newsham Park. The Grade II listed structure dates back to 1874 and features dark subterranean corridors, peeling wards, and a grim institutional history.

Visitors navigate four all-new live-actor scare mazes built into the genuine historic corridors, morgue and psychiatric cells. Each maze uses practical special effects, sensory disorientation, and intense theatrical performances designed to test the nerve of horror enthusiasts.

Outside the scare routes, the central hospital courtyard serves as an atmospheric festival hub with licensed bars, local street food vendors, photo opportunities and live performers.
