Overview & what to expect
The Rock Orchestra returns to Liverpool with Arena of Fire, a monumental 90-minute theatrical production that reinterprets hard rock and heavy metal history through a classical chamber ensemble. Fourteen virtuoso musicians and guest rock vocalists perform under dark candlelight, skeletal headpieces, and medieval steampunk aesthetics.
The setlist spans legendary anthems from Metallica, AC/DC, Linkin Park, Guns N' Roses, System of a Down, Evanescence, Black Sabbath, and Rage Against the Machine, transforming distorted power chords into surging cello, violin, and brass crescendos.
True to the Arena of Fire title, the performance is accompanied by synchronised pyrotechnics, fire performers, and dramatic lighting, creating a high-octane spectacle inside the waterfront arena.
