Comic Con Liverpool returns to King's Dock on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026, spreading across the Exhibition Centre, Convention Centre, M&S Bank Arena and Auditorium. The current line-up includes Jude Law, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, David Harbour, Christopher Lloyd, Peter Capaldi, Christopher Eccleston and dozens more.
One Liverpool-specific detail matters for anyone going on Sunday: major Merseyrail engineering work begins on 11 October, changing Northern and Wirral Line services into the city centre. Ticket availability is also tight, with weekend tickets reported sold out and the remaining entry options changing as the event approaches.

The event address and general opening times come from the organiser. The exact entry time depends on the ticket being sold. The live Skiddle listing currently offers Sunday 9am entry, while the organiser's general venue page still describes standard Sunday entry as 11am. Use the entry time shown on the ticket you buy rather than the general opening-time table.

Comic Con Liverpool is taking over the Liverpool Experience Campus at King's Dock, the new name for the former ACC Liverpool campus. The connected site includes the Exhibition Centre, Convention Centre, M&S Bank Arena and Auditorium. The Exhibition Centre opened in 2015, while the wider waterfront campus dates to 2008.
The organiser says its Liverpool conventions attract tens of thousands of visitors, with the event expanding beyond a single exhibition hall into the connected campus. Exhibition Centre Liverpool said its biggest Comic Con by 2024 had attracted more than 40,000 people.

Who is appearing at Comic Con Liverpool 2026?
The 2026 roster is unusually large, but treat it as a live line-up rather than a permanent list. Actors can cancel because of filming and other professional commitments. The organiser says autograph and photo tickets are refunded when a guest cancels, but general event admission is not normally refunded unless the convention itself is cancelled.

The Game of Thrones group is large enough that anyone booking to meet one cast member should check which day that person is appearing before buying entry, photo or autograph tickets. Guest appearances can be restricted to a single day, so a name on the weekend roster does not mean that person will be there on both Saturday and Sunday.
Comic Con Liverpool ticket availability
Ticket availability is changing quickly. A 26 September organiser ticket alert said that weekend entry tickets had sold out and that the remaining entry options at that point were Saturday 12.30pm entry and Sunday 9am entry. Availability may have changed since.

Your autograph or photo ticket does not include admission
Easy mistake
A signing or photo booking will not get you through the door
You need a separate convention admission ticket as well.
A celebrity autograph or professional photograph is a separate purchase from the ticket that gets you into Comic Con. Someone holding only a photograph or autograph booking cannot enter the convention with that ticket.

The guest page currently shows autograph and photograph prices ranging widely by guest, with some options at around £30 and the highest listings reaching £175 plus booking fee. Check the individual guest rather than budgeting from an average.
If a photo or autograph opportunity has not sold out, the organiser says purchases can also be made at the event by cash or card. Pre-paid customers are generally prioritised, particularly for busier guests.
What happens at Comic Con besides celebrity signings?
The event uses far more of the campus than the celebrity signing area. The programme advertised by Monopoly Events includes live guest Q&As, cosplay, full-size props and set builds, retro and modern gaming areas, traders and artists, alongside the autograph and professional photography sessions.
The size of the venue matters when planning several bookings. A photograph session, autograph queue and live panel may be in different parts of the campus, and celebrities also leave their tables for photographs, Q&As and breaks. The organiser recommends allowing enough time rather than assuming a guest will stay at the signing table all day. Its official app provides event maps, schedules, guest lists and live updates, and there is information on the Monopoly Events app on the organiser's site.
Cosplay rules and replica weapons

Cosplay is a major part of Comic Con Liverpool, but the venue operates security checks. Anything illegal to carry in public is prohibited, and venue security can refuse or confiscate objects considered dangerous. The organiser's cosplay policy covers replica weapons and props, so anyone planning a costume with swords, bows, guns or other weapons should read the official Comic Con Liverpool cosplay rules before travelling.
There is also a consent rule for photography: permission is required before photographing someone in cosplay, including selfies and professional photographs.

Child ticket rules
Ages 0 to 4: free, zero-cost ticket required. Ages 5 to 9: paid child ticket. Under 16: must be with a paying adult.
Every person entering needs a ticket, including babies and toddlers. Children aged 0 to 4 receive free admission, but the organiser still requires a zero-cost infant ticket for capacity records. Children aged 5 to 9 need a paid child ticket. The organiser's current policy states that all children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The Liverpool Experience Campus has baby-changing facilities and permits breastfeeding throughout public areas. It says a private room can be provided on request.
Accessibility at Comic Con Liverpool
The campus has accessible entrances, lifts and toilets. Motorised mobility scooters and wheelchairs can be used in public areas, and guide dogs are permitted. The venue does not provide wheelchairs itself. There is also a Changing Places facility with an adult-sized changing bench, hoist and additional space for carers.
The event currently uses the Nimbus Access Card system for personal-assistant and accessibility arrangements. A complimentary personal-assistant ticket can be issued to qualifying visitors whose card carries the appropriate +1 or +2 symbol. Fast-track arrangements need to be requested in advance and cannot be issued at the event.
Under normal weekend arrangements, Merseyrail identifies Liverpool Central as the nearest station for Northern Line passengers and James Street for Wirral Line passengers. That advice holds for Saturday 10 October. It becomes more complicated on Sunday 11 October.
Sunday 11 October has major Merseyrail disruption
Sunday is the first day of a four-week, £3.5 million programme of Northern Line tunnel works. On Sundays during the project, replacement buses will run between Hunts Cross and Sandhills. Northern Line trains from Southport, Ormskirk and Headbolt Lane will terminate at Sandhills, rather than running through the city-centre loop.
There is a second change specific to 11 October. Wirral Line services will terminate at James Street, with no Wirral Line trains calling at Moorfields, Lime Street or Liverpool Central that day. Generic advice telling Sunday Comic Con visitors to travel to Liverpool Central could be misleading.
Merseyrail says services to New Brighton and Ellesmere Port will use Platform 2 at James Street on 11 October, and that platform does not have lift access. Passengers needing step-free access are advised to travel to Hamilton Square, change for a Chester or West Kirby service, or use the accessible bus between Hamilton Square and Moorfields, which runs every 30 minutes when connecting with the Northern Line.
A temporary Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is operating near the campus off Queen's Wharf. The organiser warns that on-site parking is limited and first come, first served. Accessible parking is available. The organiser also identifies these alternatives:

Cash, cards, food and Wi-Fi
There is no cash machine inside the venue. The organiser recommends bringing cash if you plan to pay for some autographs, photos or trader purchases. Card payments are also accepted, and the venue's own food and drink outlets are cashless.
Free Wi-Fi is available across Liverpool Experience Campus, but do not rely on it to retrieve your ticket at the door. The organiser recommends downloading the QR code or barcode in advance, and warns that screenshots can be poorer quality and slow down scanning. Food and drink outlets operate around the campus.
The official Comic Con Liverpool after-party
Ticket Quarter also lists an official Comic Con Liverpool after-party at Camp and Furnace as a separate event product. You do not need a convention ticket to attend the after-party, but a separate after-party ticket is required. The organiser was promoting the Saturday night party in late September alongside performances and DJ sets.
Check the current timetable and ticket conditions through Ticket Quarter rather than assuming entry is included with your convention ticket.
Five things to check before leaving home
Check that your guest is still appearing. Film and television commitments can cause late cancellations.
Check the day your guest is attending. Not every guest appears on both days.
Download your entry barcode before travelling. Do not depend on mobile data or venue Wi-Fi at the door.
Treat every photo and autograph booking as separate from admission.
If travelling on Sunday, check Merseyrail immediately before leaving. The engineering work changes the usual route into Liverpool.
