Oktoberfest Liverpool returns to Hangar 34 on Saturday 17 October 2026, with two separate four-hour sessions in the Baltic Triangle. German beer is served in steins, a live German Jukebox Band is on the bill, and you need £5 in cash if you want a stein.

The main thing to know before anything else: your ticket covers one session, not the whole day.

The Greenland Street venue runs an afternoon session from noon to 4pm, then a separate evening session from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. General admission is currently £20 plus booking fee on Skiddle.

Two sessions, one Saturday

This is not one long ticket with a lunch break in the middle. The event is split into two sittings, and each has its own entry cut-off.

Afternoon: 12pm to 4pm

The first session opens at 12pm, with last entry at 1pm. A noon ticket does not let you wander in halfway through, so arrive before 1pm.

If your group has plans for Saturday night, this is the one to watch. You could spend four hours inside a warehouse with a brass band, then come out at 4pm with the rest of the evening still ahead.

Evening: 4.30pm to 8.30pm

The second session runs from 4.30pm to 8.30pm, with last entry at 5.30pm. It has the same format as the afternoon, but a later start suits a group that wants to eat first.

On 6 October, Skiddle was still showing general admission for both sessions and marked both as having only a small number of tickets left. Ticket stock can change quickly, so check the live Skiddle listing before you plan around it.

What happens at Oktoberfest Liverpool?

The organisers describe a seated Oktoberfest-style party with a full makeover of the venue. The listing mentions German beer served in steins, themed photo areas, German street food and live music.

The music is the clearest guide to the mood. The German Jukebox Band is billed as an interactive live act rather than background music. Videos linked from the event listing show the band playing pop and party songs on brass instruments.

In practice, expect a loud, communal afternoon or evening, with people standing up and singing along by the third song.

What beer is served?

The organisers say the bar will serve German beer in steins. They have not yet published a beer list, so this guide does not name any brands.

There is no confirmed public information on lagers, wheat beers, alcohol-free options, stein sizes or individual drink prices. If a drinks menu appears before 17 October, this guide will be updated with it.

Bring £5 cash for the stein deposit

The event information says a £5 cash deposit is required for steins. The deposit is refunded when you return the stein at the end.

Do not assume you can pay the deposit by card unless the organiser changes the information. The current listing specifies cash.

Is there food?

The listing advertises German or Bavarian-style street food. A detailed 2026 food menu has not been published, so check with the organiser before you rely on the event for a main meal, especially if you have allergies or dietary needs.

There are plenty of options nearby. L1Local's food and drink guide to the Baltic Triangle covers places around the area if you want to eat before or after.

What does a £20 ticket include?

General admission is listed at £20 plus booking fee. That gets you entry to the session on your ticket.

The listing does not say that general admission includes beer or food, so budget for drinks and anything you eat once inside.

Reserved group tables are sold in different sizes and positions. On 6 October, some table types had sold out and others had very few left. If six or eight of you are going together, compare the table prices with separate tickets before you check out. Some group tickets require everyone to arrive together.

Do you need to dress up?

No dress code is listed. Normal clothes are fine.

The organisers are encouraging the theme, though. Photo areas are part of the setup, and lederhosen and dirndls feature in the promotional material.

Where is Hangar 34?

Hangar 34 is at 34 Greenland Street, Liverpool, L1 0BS, in the Baltic Triangle. It is a warehouse-style venue used for live music, club nights and larger entertainment events. L1Local also includes it in the Liverpool live music guide.

Skiddle lists Liverpool Central as the nearest railway station.

If you are meeting a group, give the venue name and Greenland Street rather than just "the Baltic". The area has several large event spaces close together.

Accessibility at Hangar 34

Hangar 34 says the venue has step-free access, a designated wheelchair viewing area, an accessible toilet and priority entry where needed. It also says complimentary carer tickets can be arranged.

Use Hangar 34's accessibility information and request form before the event rather than leaving arrangements until the door. The venue's FAQ says you need your ticket QR code for entry, and that Challenge 25 applies to alcohol purchases.

What happens when your session ends?

The afternoon session finishes at 4pm, which is early for a Saturday night out. Hangar 34 sits in the Baltic Triangle, so bars and food venues are close by. If your group plans to carry on, pick the next stop before the first stein arrives.

The Baltic Triangle food and drink guide lists nearby options.

A separate Oktoberfest is on the same day

Hangar 34 is not the only Oktoberfest event in Liverpool on Saturday 17 October. Skiddle also lists a separate Oktoberfest at BOXPARK Liverpool that day.

This guide covers Oktoberfest Liverpool 2026 at Hangar 34 on Greenland Street. Check the venue name before you buy, share or forward tickets.
