Updated 10 October 2026. Organising the Liverpool office Christmas do? Whether your group wants a proper sit-down dinner, a shared party night with a DJ, its own room or something other than turkey and crackers, there are already confirmed 2026 offers across Liverpool and Merseyside. Below we compare published prices and booking conditions, and flag the details that still require an enquiry.

Quick answer: For a small group meal, start with Lunya, Hanover Street Social or Frederiks. For a shared Christmas party with entertainment, look at Ten Streets Social, JAM, The Shankly or The Lake House in Waterloo. For exclusive space, enquire with Gracy's, The Long Shot, JAM or BOXPARK. These are types of booking, not paid rankings or guarantees that your date is free.

Independent guide: None of the venues has paid for inclusion or position in this article. We use official 2026 event and restaurant information, not copied 2025 deals. Prices are published starting points, not confirmed quotes for your date. Food-only menus, ticketed party nights, room hire and minimum spends are different products. Ask the venue to confirm the total cost, VAT and service charges before booking.

The cheapest visible figure is not necessarily the cheapest night out. For example, Ten Streets Social's £15 figure is for a burger-and-chips food package, whereas The Shankly's £59.95 is a three-course shared party night with a DJ. At The Long Shot, a minimum spend is the amount your group collectively spends on food and drink, rather than a simple room-rental charge. Compare what you are buying, not just the headline number.

Shared Christmas party nights in Liverpool

When there are eight or twelve of you, paying to hire an entire venue can make little sense. A shared night puts your group at a reserved table alongside other parties and lets the venue provide the entertainment. Confirm whether the package includes food, drinks, admission and late-night music, and whether a group smaller than a full table will be seated with other guests.

Ten Streets Social: live band, DJ and informal food

Where: 8 Regent Road, Liverpool L3 7BX. Format: live-band Fridays and Saturdays, festive Thursday quizzes and Sunday roasts.

The warehouse venue has announced 2026 party nights running through November and December. Friday and Saturday gatherings centre on the house band, scheduled from 8pm to 10pm, followed by a DJ. Its food options start at £15 a head for a burger package; canapé packages and a £35 sharing banquet are also advertised. Smaller teams can reserve tables, while larger groups can discuss private dining or a section of the venue.

The food package is not a complete ticket with unlimited drinks. Ask what you must pre-order, whether a table is guaranteed for the whole evening, and what dates remain. Read the venue's Christmas 2026 brochure and enquire.

JAM Restaurant: a meal with entertainment, or the venue to yourselves

Where: Sir Thomas Street, Liverpool city centre. JAM's advertised shared festive night costs £40pp for two courses, Prosecco, DJ and live entertainment. For a bigger company gathering, it also advertises exclusive use with a buffet, DJ and saxophonist. Its example £1,500 package is based on 50 guests, with additional catering charged separately and a maximum stated capacity of 150.

Pay particular attention to the small print: the website specifies a £15-per-person deposit for a shared event or £500 for exclusive hire, with non-refundable terms and final balances due 21 days in advance. Get an itemised quote before committing. See JAM's official package descriptions and terms.

The Shankly Hotel: a shared dancefloor and three festive courses

Exterior of The Shankly Hotel in the Millennium House building on Victoria Street, Liverpool
The Shankly Hotel on Victoria Street. This is a photograph of the building, not a 2026 Christmas party. Photograph and credit information: Wikimedia Commons.

Where: 60 Victoria Street, Liverpool L1 6JD. The Shankly lists shared Christmas party nights on 4, 5, 11 and 12 December 2026, priced at £59.95pp for three courses and a DJ. It also takes enquiries for separate private celebrations.

One important detail for small teams: the hotel's party-night terms say tables seat ten, and groups of fewer than ten may be seated alongside other guests. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and the organiser reserves the right to change or cancel under the terms published. Check The Shankly's dates and booking conditions.

The Lake House Waterloo: Disco Crimbo beside the marine lake

Where: Cambridge Road, Waterloo, Liverpool L22 1RR. A useful alternative for Sefton colleagues who do not want to travel into Liverpool city centre. The Lake House advertises Disco Crimbo party nights on Fridays and Saturdays in December, with a three-course meal and DJ. Its published event list includes 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19 December.

A reliable 2026 ticket price was not available on the inspected party page, so ask for a quote, deposit terms, accessibility details and whether private hire is available for your numbers. Enquire about The Lake House's party nights.

Formby Hall: dinner-and-dancing nights outside the city

Formby Hall Golf Resort buildings beside the golf course in Formby
Formby Hall Golf Resort. Venue photograph from 2013, not a picture of a 2026 party. Photo: David Dixon, CC BY-SA 2.0 via Wikimedia Commons (licence).

For colleagues around Formby and Southport, the golf resort is advertising several 2026 events. Festive Beats nights on 4 and 11 December are priced at £59pp, with three courses and music. Its Sax & Bongos nights are advertised at £65pp on selected Saturdays, and a Take That-themed event on 18 December is £69pp.

Dates and ticket availability are moving, and some dates may sell out. Factor travel home into the group budget. Check Formby Hall's current party listings.

Christmas restaurants and private dining in Liverpool

Lunya and Lunyalita: a festive tapas alternative

The Liverpool ONE restaurant on Hanover Street and Lunyalita at Royal Albert Dock are advertising a festive tapas banquet from £29.95pp for 2026. That is a group food package, not an entertainment ticket. The menu uses shared platters and tapas, with a separately priced dessert option and advance arrangements for dietary requirements.

Lunya says it can accommodate groups up to 140 at its larger venue, while Lunyalita has group/private-dining arrangements for up to 80. Check which location, room layout and set menu is appropriate before circulating a quote. See the 2026 festive tapas menu and enquiry details.

Hanover Street Social: straightforward group dining

Where: 16–20 Hanover Street, Liverpool L1 4AA. The restaurant has a specific Christmas 2026 page and a separate group-booking offer. Its normal larger-party information refers to full restaurant hire for up to 120 people, as well as flexible options for smaller celebrations and dietary menus.

The price depends on the chosen festive menu and arrangement, so don't rely on an unverified per-person figure. For a team that wants to sit together and talk rather than hear a late DJ, this is a practical starting point. See the Christmas menus and contact the team.

The Art School Restaurant: a formal Christmas dinner

Where: 1 Sugnall Street, Liverpool L7 7EB, near the Philharmonic. The Art School's published festive 2026 choices include a three-course prix fixe at £49pp, Menu Excellence at £115pp and a £140 tasting menu.

Those are distinct dining experiences rather than interchangeable levels of party-package entertainment. This is one to enquire about for a client dinner, staff celebration or a smaller group prioritising a lengthy meal. Ask whether a particular room can be reserved and what pre-order rules apply. View The Art School's Christmas menus.

Frederiks: Christmas on Hope Street

Where: 32 Hope Street, Liverpool L1 9BX. Frederiks' current Christmas booking information covers traditional three-course dining, buffet menus, drinks and private gatherings. Its established live-music setting makes it an option for teams that want food and an evening out without moving venue.

There is no verified universal starting price for a 2026 group booking in the information checked. Ask the events team for the appropriate brochure, minimum spend, seating and entertainment arrangements for your particular night. Read Frederiks' Christmas information.

Malmaison Liverpool: festive dining, private dining or a joined party

The Princes Dock hotel advertises three different 2026 offers. Its festive three-course Celebrations menu starts at £37.50pp; private-dining packages from £42.50pp include a room, meal and crackers; and join-a-party nights start from £60pp. These offers should not be compared as if they include the same extras.

Malmaison has published themed evenings including 80s and 90s hits, ABBA and Michael Bublé tributes. Ask whether your preferred date and room are available and whether service charges or drinks are included. View Malmaison's Liverpool Christmas packages.

Private-hire Christmas party venues for larger Liverpool groups

Hiring a room or venue becomes more appealing when you need a presentation, awards, your own DJ or space for an entire office. The important question is not simply capacity: is it seated or standing capacity, does it include catering, and is the minimum spend achievable for your actual guest list?

Gracy's Bar & Function: one room, its own bar and dancefloor

Where: 50 Brunswick Street, Liverpool L2 0PL, opposite the Royal Liver Building. Gracy's markets a private Christmas setup with its own bar, dancefloor and presentation equipment. The venue advertises free room hire and buffet choices from £11pp, with a larger hot-buffet option.

Free room hire does not necessarily mean no minimum bar spend, security charge or entertainment expense for your chosen date. Ask for all costs in writing and check current December availability. Request a Christmas quote from Gracy's.

The Long Shot: a flexible Albert Dock space with a minimum spend

Royal Albert Dock, home to several group-dining and party venues. This shows the dock setting, not The Long Shot's interior. Photo: Rodhullandemu, CC BY-SA 4.0 via Wikimedia Commons (licence).

Where: Britannia Pavilion, Royal Albert Dock. The venue says it can accommodate groups up to 150 using one or both floors, with screens, adaptable music and bar arrangements. Rather than a flat room-hire price, it offers minimum-spend packages that count group food and drinks.

Its advertised Friday/Saturday examples include around £2,000 minimum spend for part-venue hire or £2,500 for both floors, but these are illustrative, can change with season and date, and should not be presented as a confirmed Christmas quote. Ask about exclusivity, accessibility between floors and sound limits. Read The Long Shot's current Christmas hire information.

BOXPARK Liverpool: street food and a big group celebration

Located at Cains Brewery in the Baltic Triangle, BOXPARK is promoting Christmas 2026 bookings and a series of Liverpool office-party events. Its group packages published for Liverpool begin at £30pp, with food tokens, drinks and entertainment structured into different tiers.

This could work for a larger team with varied food preferences, but check exactly which package applies to your date and whether particular entertainment or event tickets are separate. The venue's Big Office Party programme also includes specific dates and age/ID rules. Compare BOXPARK's Christmas packages and check the Liverpool office-party programme.

Duck & Swagger: take over a Baltic Triangle pub

The pub attached to The Baltic Hotel on Jamaica Street advertises exclusive Christmas use with flexible buffet, drinks and entertainment arrangements. This may suit a team wanting its own room and music, rather than shared banqueting tables.

The page checked describes the festive offer without a full dated 2026 price list. Treat availability and costs as on enquiry, and request confirmation that the published offer applies to your chosen December 2026 date. Contact the Baltic Hotel's events team.

Something different: music, games and less formal Christmas parties

A traditional three-course dinner is not everyone's ideal team night. For something less formal, Albert's Schloss on Bold Street has a published 2026 festive programme with live entertainment, two courses at £40pp and three at £48pp. Enquire directly for groups of nine or more, with a £10-per-person deposit specified for larger dining parties. See Albert's Schloss's festive group information.

For competitive group entertainment, Flight Club Liverpool at Liverpool ONE advertises corporate Christmas sessions centred on Social Darts with Gamesmasters, food and drinks. We have not verified a 2026 Liverpool per-person price, so get a formal quote for your group and slot. Check Flight Club's corporate Christmas events.

For an activity-led group, compare price per person, game time, minimum participants and accessibility before booking. A two-hour experience followed by a separately booked meal can cost more than a longer all-in package, but it may better suit your team.

Christmas parties outside Liverpool city centre

You don't have to end every December office party on the last train out of Liverpool Central. The Lake House in Waterloo and Formby Hall offer alternatives for groups based in north Liverpool or Sefton; both have dedicated 2026 seasonal event information.

In south Liverpool, The Watering Can at Greenbank Park is advertising festive set menus, afternoon tea and buffet options for groups of six to 60, plus a 2026 seasonal events programme. It's a more relaxed daytime or early-evening option, though exact group prices need an enquiry. See The Watering Can's festive booking information.

For public transport, check the actual return journey after the intended finish time. A group event lasting into the early hours may need pre-booked vehicles, and a coach should be confirmed for its parking and pickup arrangements rather than assumed possible outside the door. For current local transport changes, see L1Local's Liverpool roadworks tool.

Eight questions to ask before you pay a Christmas party deposit

  1. Is my preferred date available? Ask for at least one backup date, especially for Fridays in December.
  2. What exactly does the quote include? Compare courses, drinks, DJ, entertainment, VAT, service charge and any ticket or booking fee.
  3. What is the actual room capacity? Seated dining, standing drinks and theatre-style presentations need different layouts.
  4. Is there a minimum spend? If so, does every guest's spending count towards it, and what happens if your group spends less?
  5. What are the deposit and cancellation terms? Several venues publish non-refundable booking terms. Ask about falling numbers and the final-balance deadline.
  6. When are menu choices due? Find out about allergies, vegetarian and vegan options, pre-orders and any substitutions.
  7. Will the space be private? A reserved table, a separate room, part-venue hire and exclusive use are not interchangeable.
  8. How will everyone get home? Confirm transport, step-free routes, accessible toilets, dress codes, ID requirements and late finishes for your group.

Planning by group size and budget

Six to ten people: Begin with restaurants offering festive set menus, or enquire about small tables at shared party nights. Ask whether a table will be shared and whether you can split payment.

Ten to thirty people: Restaurant group menus, pub rooms and set-piece activity experiences generally offer more flexibility than whole-venue takeovers. Decide whether eating together or dancing matters more.

Thirty to one hundred: Request written quotes for private rooms or sections, and confirm seated capacity rather than only the maximum standing number.

One hundred or more: Shortlist venues advertising large-scale hire and set deadlines for final numbers, security requirements, menu choices and an agreed organiser contact.

Tight budget: Start by comparing food-only offers separately from ticketed party nights. A buffet at £11pp or a burger package at £15pp will not cover the same things as a £59.95 dinner-and-DJ ticket.

Frequently asked questions

Where can a small office book a Liverpool Christmas party?

Consider a set-menu restaurant such as Lunya or Hanover Street Social, or a shared night at Ten Streets Social or The Shankly. Check whether groups smaller than ten sit together or share tables with other parties.

Are there Liverpool Christmas parties under £40 per person?

There are advertised food packages below £40pp, including Ten Streets Social's £15 burger option and Lunya's £29.95 festive tapas banquet. Those are not all-inclusive party-night prices. BOXPARK lists some Christmas packages from £30pp; check precisely what the chosen package includes.

What's the difference between private hire and a shared party night?

A shared party night lets several unrelated groups attend the same organised event, usually paying per person. Private hire reserves a room, floor or whole venue for your guests and may come with a minimum spend. Ask about staffing, entertainment, room exclusivity and cancellation conditions.

Can we book a Christmas party on a weekday?

Yes, several venues advertise midweek or Thursday options, though their specific 2026 availability varies. Midweek dates may offer a more relaxed atmosphere or different spending requirements. Never assume a lower cost until the venue quotes it.

Should we book now?

For popular December Fridays and Saturdays, sooner is safer. Confirm your date and final numbers with the organiser; a page advertising an event does not prove space is still available. Check cancellation terms before paying.

Common questions

Where can a group of ten book a Christmas party in Liverpool in 2026?

Smaller groups can enquire about festive meals at Lunya, Hanover Street Social, Frederiks or Albert's Schloss, or join a shared party night at venues such as The Shankly and Ten Streets Social. Confirm the minimum group size and whether your table will be shared before paying.

How much does a Liverpool Christmas party cost in 2026?

Published offers vary widely. Examples include Ten Streets Social food packages from £15 per head, Lunya's £29.95 festive tapas banquet, and The Shankly's £59.95 three-course shared party night. These are different products and should not be compared as equivalent all-inclusive packages.

Can I book a private Christmas party for a large group in Liverpool?

Yes. Options include JAM Restaurant, Hanover Street Social, The Long Shot at Royal Albert Dock and other venues offering exclusive or part-venue hire. Capacity, minimum spend, deposits and date availability need confirmation directly with each venue.

Are Christmas party deposits refundable?

It depends on the organiser. JAM and The Shankly publish non-refundable terms for certain bookings. Never assume a deposit is refundable: request the complete terms in writing before paying.
